Warped Roots Minecraft Guide (1.16+)

Find and collect warped roots in the Nether's Warped Forest. Learn where to get them and how to use them in Minecraft 1.16 and higher.

What Are Warped Roots?

Warped roots are a plant item you can find growing in the Nether. They’re part of the Nether vegetation that was added in version 1.16, and you can’t craft them. Your only option is to find them in the world and harvest them.

Where to Find Warped Roots

Head to the Nether and look for the Warped Forest biome. You’ll see these small plant-like blocks growing on the ground. They’re usually found alongside warped fungus and other Warped Forest vegetation. The Warped Forest is the bright cyan/turquoise colored area of the Nether, so it’s pretty hard to miss once you know what to look for.
