Not In Minecraft Mod 1.4.7 – Classic Mobs & Items

Not In Minecraft Mod brings back content that Mojang removed or never got around to adding to the game. Restore classic mobs like Humans and Farlanders, craft rare ruby gear, and place blocks from earlier Minecraft versions. This mod is perfect if you want to experience cut content and experimental features from Minecraft’s history.

Mobs

The mod adds several hostile and neutral creatures from Minecraft’s past.

Hostile Human

A hostile mob with 20 health that drops gunpowder. Spawns in groups of 5 to 10. Doesn’t attack but will follow you around. Sometimes drops rare mod items.

PigMan

A mob that was never added to Minecraft. Has 20 health and drops pork chops. Spawns in small groups. Doesn’t attack when you hit it, making it an easy food source. The creator plans to rebalance this in future updates.

Steve, Black Steve, and Beast Boy

Remakes of test mobs from early Minecraft development. Each has 20 health, drops string, and spawns in groups. These are based on experimental mobs created by Notch during Indev.

Fish

A mob that was planned but never made it into the game. Has 5 health and spawns in large bodies of water. Drops fish items. They look cool swimming around in your world.

Whale

A rare water mob with 30 health. Doesn’t drop anything yet, though the creator planned to add blubber drops eventually.

Farlander and Giant Mobs

The mod also includes Farlanders (classic endermen) and Giants, rare hostile mobs that spawn in certain conditions.

Armor and Equipment

Ruby Gear

Ruby items are extremely rare but incredibly powerful. Ruby tools have 1998 uses and 32 efficiency (twice as much as gold). Ruby swords deal 5 damage per hit and can one-shot any mob with 20 health. Only 2 ruby ores spawn per 16 chunks, so finding ruby is a real challenge.

Leather-Chain Armor

A middle-ground armor between iron and diamond protection. Despite looking simple, one full set requires 4 leather armor sets plus 1 iron armor set, making it more resource-intensive than it appears.

Nether Core Armor

Built from nether core materials. Offers slightly better durability than diamond armor, though the creator is still tweaking the design.

Classic Blocks

The mod adds several blocks from older Minecraft versions and removed content.

• Classic Chest – Looks like old chests but works the same as modern ones
• Classic Brick and Slab – Old-texture variants of brick blocks
• Classic Cobblestone and Slab – Retro cobblestone variants
• Classic Gravel – Old-school gravel texture
• Dirt Slab – A slab variant made from dirt

Decoration Blocks

• Lantern – A 3-block-high light source that illuminates large areas
• Gear – A decoration block that covers one face of another block
• Cyan Flower – A decorative flower from Pocket Edition
• Lecterns, Tables, and Chairs – Furniture blocks for building
• Baby Blocks – Smaller block variants
• Spike Block – Sharp decoration block
• Ruby Block – A solid block made from ruby materials
• Fish Block – Displays fish
• 16 New Wool Colors – Extra colors beyond vanilla Minecraft

Ores and Materials

Ruby Ore is the hardest ore to find in the mod, spawning only twice per 16 chunks. Crying Obsidian, Nether Core blocks, and Glowing Obsidian are all used to craft Nether Core Armor.

Quiver

The Quiver is still in development. Once finished, it will let you store about 5 stacks of arrows without taking up inventory space. The creator is considering making it wearable as a chest plate.

Installation

Installing Not In Minecraft Mod is straightforward:

1. Install Forge or Fabric mod loader for your Minecraft version
2. Download the mod file from the links below
3. Place the downloaded mod file in your .minecraft/mods folder
4. Launch Minecraft with your mod loader
