Convenient Name Tags cuts out the anvil middleman. This Fabric mod lets you rename mobs and villagers on the spot, then craft name tags whenever you need them. No more wasting XP levels just to change a name.
What It Does
Normally, if you want to rename a name tag in Minecraft, you have to throw it in an anvil with experience. That’s annoying. This mod removes that requirement completely. You can rename any mob or villager without the anvil tax, and when mobs die, they actually drop their name tags so you can reuse them.

How to Install
You need Fabric and Fabric API installed first. If you don’t have them yet:
Install Fabric Mod Loader
Install Fabric API
Then drop the mod file into your .minecraft/mods folder.
