What is Rearview Mod?
Rearview lets you craft a special helmet that shows what’s behind you at all times. It’s a live rear-view mirror for your character. Equip it and you get a constant feed of what you’d normally have to turn around to see.
Features
Rear View Display
The helmet displays a real-time mirror of what’s behind you. No lag, no static images. You see exactly what’s happening at your back while looking forward.
Real-Time Rendering
The view updates instantly as you move and turn. It’s a fully functional rear mirror, not some gimmick. Perfect for checking for mobs sneaking up or watching your friend follow you.
Performance Warning
This mod will hit your FPS hard. The world renders twice at once (your normal view plus the rear view), so expect your frame rate to drop roughly in half when wearing the helmet. If you normally get 60 FPS, you’re looking at around 30 FPS with the helmet on.
Also note: the mod uses an OpenGL extension that vanilla Minecraft doesn’t use. It might not work on all computers. Test it before diving deep into a world.
