Unloader Mod is a small utility that unloads Minecraft dimensions you’re not using. This frees up tick time and RAM on your server or client. It’s not going to turn a laggy server into a rocket, but every bit helps, especially if you run a bigger server with lots of worlds.
What Does Unloader Do?
The mod runs a check every 30 seconds to find dimensions that have no chunks or entities loaded. When it spots one, it tells Forge to unload it. Those dimensions load back up automatically if you need them later, so nothing gets lost.
Performance Benefits
- Cuts down unnecessary tick time from loaded dimensions
- Frees up RAM by unloading inactive dimensions
- Cleans up TPS commands so you don’t see dimensions you don’t care about
Server or Client?
You can install this on a server or your client. On a server, everyone benefits from the performance boost. On client, you get local improvements.
