More Beautiful Stairs Mod adds stair variants for almost every block in Minecraft. Want stairs made of water, fire, dirt, or glass? This mod lets you craft them. The stairs use textures pulled straight from the vanilla blocks, so they look like they belong in the game. You can also use any resource pack to customize the textures.

How It Works

The mod uses a simple crafting recipe. First, make a stair frame by putting 8 sticks and any vanilla stair block in a 3×3 crafting grid with the stair in the center. That gives you a stair frame item. Then combine the stair frame with any block you want, and you get stair blocks for that material.

The stairs actually function as real stairs too. You can walk up them, place them in any orientation, and use them in your builds just like normal stairs.
