Extra Delight Mod (1.19.2) is a cooking expansion that adds over 146 new meals, 43 feasts, and a bunch of new kitchen gear to work with. If you like Farmer’s Delight and want more stuff to cook and eat, this mod fills that gap with tons of options.
What’s New
Cooking Workstations
Extra Delight adds four new cooking tools to make your kitchen feel more complete:
- Oven – Has a 3×3 crafting grid plus space for a baking tray. Recipes cook over time as long as there’s fire underneath. You’ll need to pick which of the 8 baking tray types to use.
- Dough Shaping Station – Works like a stone cutter. Takes wheat dough and turns it into different pasta shapes and other dough-based foods.
- Mixing Bowl – A big wooden bowl for stirring ingredients together. Needs a spoon to use.
- Mortar and Pestle – A stone bowl for crushing and grinding ingredients into new items.
Cooking Tools
- Spoons for the Mixing Bowl
- Pestles for the Mortar
- 8 different Baking Trays for the Oven
- Grater for the Cutting Board to slice foods thin
Ingredients and Meals
The mod adds 35 new ingredients that mostly come from vanilla items or Farmer’s Delight. Some can only be found in chests. With those ingredients, you can make 146 different meals, ranging from extra cheesecakes and custards to completely new dishes. There’s also 43 feasts (the big meal blocks), and some can be served different ways. Like stews that work on their own or poured over rice.
If you have Butchercraft installed, a few meals need its tools to make, but Butchercraft isn’t required to enjoy the mod.
Kitchen Decorations
Extra Delight adds some nice-looking blocks for your kitchen:
- Wallpaper – 16 varieties, can be layered with wood on top or bottom for different looks
- Spice Racks – Comes filled or empty. The empty kind displays 4 items for decoration.
- Half-Height Cabinets – Smaller versions of Farmer’s Delight cabinets. Perfect for overhead storage.
- Knife Blocks – Store your knives and Butchercraft knives on display
- Step Stools – Helps you reach the counter to see what you’re cooking
