Myssyhead’s Mummies Mod for Minecraft 1.19.2
Myssyhead’s Mummies Mod adds hostile mummy mobs to Minecraft 1.19.2. These undead creatures spawn in desert biomes at night and bring a new challenge to your survival world. If you want more desert danger, this mod is worth trying out.
What Are Mummies?
Mummies are hostile undead mobs with stats similar to zombies. They’re slow but pack a punch when they attack. Mummies will chase down players and villagers with intent, but here’s the weird part: they’re absolutely terrified of Iron Golems. Breed some golems near your base and mummies won’t come near.
When a mummy isn’t hunting, it just wanders around watching cats. It’s a creepy little detail that adds personality to the mob.
Where Mummies Spawn
Mummies spawn only in desert biomes during the night. You’ll start seeing them once the sun goes down in your desert areas. They spawn naturally like other hostile mobs, so you’ll need to be careful exploring deserts after dark.
What Mummies Drop
Mummies give decent loot when you kill them:
- Rotten Flesh (common drop)
- Ancient Rolls (new item)
- Iron, Gold, or Diamonds (rare chance)
Ancient Rolls are the interesting drop. Craft them into paper by placing the Rolls in a crafting table next to a Water Bucket. This gives you a renewable paper source if you farm mummies regularly.
