How do I switch between hotbars?

Use your scroll wheel to cycle through hotbars. You can also double-tap number keys or use Ctrl + number keys (configurable) to jump directly to slots in the second hotbar.

Can I use this mod with other mods?

Yes, Dual Hotbars works with most other Forge mods. Just make sure you're not using conflicting mods that modify hotbar behavior.

Can I change how many hotbars I have?

Yes. The config file lets you enable up to four hotbars, which gives you access to your entire inventory without opening it.

Does this work with Fabric?

Dual Hotbars was originally built for Forge. Check the mod page for any Fabric ports if you need Fabric compatibility.

Can I configure which key toggles the extra hotbar?

Yes, the mod config file includes options to customize the modifier key (Ctrl by default) and other controls.

Dual Hotbars Mod 1.11.2, 1.10.2 Download

Dual Hotbars Mod gives you an 18-slot hotbar instead of the default 9. By default it displays as two rows of 9 slots, but you can configure it to show as one row of 18. The extra slots pull directly from the top row of your inventory, so you don’t have to open your inventory to use them.

How It Works

You get three ways to select items in the new 9 slots:

Scroll your mouse wheel
Double-tap the number key (double-tap “1” for slot 10, “2” for slot 11, etc)
Hold Ctrl while pressing a number key (configurable)

The second hotbar shows your inventory’s top row by default. The mod supports up to four hotbars total, which means you can access your entire inventory without ever opening it.

Dual Hotbar Mode

Shows two rows of 9 slots. Quick access to 18 items at once.

Single Hotbar Mode

All 18 slots in one row. Configure this in the mod settings.
