How to Make Cracked Deepslate Bricks
Cracked deepslate bricks came to Minecraft with the Caves & Cliffs Update: Part I. It’s a decorative block made by cooking deepslate bricks in a furnace. If you want to add this block to your inventory, here’s exactly how to do it.
Finding Cracked Deepslate Bricks in Creative Mode
If you’re in Creative Mode, you can find cracked deepslate bricks in the Building Blocks tab of your inventory. It’s available in Minecraft Java Edition versions 1.17 through 1.19.4.
What You Need to Make Cracked Deepslate Bricks
To craft cracked deepslate bricks in Survival Mode, you only need one ingredient:
- 1x Deepslate Bricks
That’s it. You’ll also need a furnace and fuel (coal, wood, or anything that burns), but the deepslate bricks are what you’re cooking.
How to Make Cracked Deepslate Bricks in Survival Mode
Step 1: Open Your Furnace
Place your furnace and open it. You’ll see the furnace menu with two boxes: the top one for items to cook, and the bottom one for fuel.
Step 2: Add Fuel
Put fuel in the bottom box. Coal works great, but you can also use charcoal, wooden planks, or any other fuel. A single coal will cook several items.
Not sure what fuel to use? Pretty much any wood-based item or coal will work. The furnace will show you when it’s burning with the flame animation.
Step 3: Add Deepslate Bricks
Place your deepslate bricks in the top box of the furnace. You’ll see the flame animation start, and the deepslate bricks will begin cooking. Once it’s done (the arrow fills up), you’ll have cracked deepslate bricks in the result box.
Step 4: Move to Your Inventory
Click the cracked deepslate bricks in the result box and move them to your inventory. Done! You’ve successfully made cracked deepslate bricks.
