Withering Away: Reborn brings infection to Minecraft. This mod introduces a spreading wither plague that converts mobs into infected versions and spawns mutated creatures. As the infection grows, it gains power, splitting into different entity types with unique abilities. You’ll face withering zombies, creepers, spiders, endermen, and golems alongside mutated crawlers, spreaders, and blobs that will challenge your survival.

Infected Mobs

The wither infection transforms standard mobs into dangerous variants:

Withering Zombie – Armed with a sword, decent speed, average health. The basic infected unit.
Withering Creeper – Buffs nearby infected mobs and explodes on death without destroying blocks. Acts as support.
Withering Enderman – Grants beneficial effects to infected mobs while spreading the withering effect in a 50×50 area to all other mobs.
Withering Golem – The toughest infected mob, built to tank damage and hold the line.

Mutated Creatures

The infection also spawns mutated variants with specialized roles:

The Crawler – A fast unit spawned when withering creepers explode or spreaders split apart.
