How to Get Ghast Tears in Survival Mode

The only way to get a ghast tear in survival is to kill a ghast and hope it drops one. Here’s how:

Step 1: Get to the Nether

Build a nether portal using obsidian blocks. Light it on fire and jump through. You need to find a ghast, and they only spawn in the Nether.

Step 2: Find a Ghast

Ghasts spawn in open areas of the Nether, especially around lava lakes and in large caverns. They float around and shoot fireballs at you. A ghast is about 4 blocks wide and 4 blocks tall.
