This mod adds one thing: a throwable version of dirt you can chuck like a snowball. When it lands, there’s a 50% chance it places a dirt block right at the point of impact. Small mod, but it solves a real problem when you need to fill a gap across a ravine or patch a ledge you can’t reach by hand.
What It Does
The mod adds a craftable item called Throwable Dirt. You throw it in an arc, it travels dozens of blocks, and on landing it has a coin-flip chance to place a dirt block. That 50% chance means you’ll want to bring a full stack, not just a few. Miss or get unlucky and nothing happens, no block placed, no item returned.
It’s niche, but in survival it’s actually useful. Bridging by hand over a big gap is slow and dangerous. Throwing dirt across first gives you something to work with.
Features
- New craftable item: Throwable Dirt
- Throws in an arc, like a snowball
- 50% chance to place a dirt block on impact
- Reaches spots dozens of blocks away from where you’re standing
Crafting Recipe
Combine a dirt block with a snowball in a crafting grid to make Throwable Dirt. Stock up before heading out since the 50% placement rate burns through them fast.
