DragonFire Mod 1.12.2 – How To Train Your Dragon Mod

DragonFire Mod adds 60+ tameable dragons from How To Train Your Dragon into Minecraft 1.12.2. Hatch eggs, tame them with food, and train your own dragon.

DragonFire adds dragons to Minecraft, and a lot of them. You hatch eggs, tame the hatchling with its preferred food, and train it to follow commands and fight alongside you. Most of the roster comes straight from How To Train Your Dragon, Night Fury, Gronckle, Bewilderbeast and the rest, but there are plenty of original species in here too. Over 60 dragon types total, plus two new dungeon types that generate in your world.

What This Mod Adds

Dragon Taming System

The whole mod is built around three stages: hatch, tame, train. You get a dragon egg, incubate it, and raise the hatchling into a full dragon. Taming requires feeding them specific foods, not just whatever’s in your hotbar, so there’s a bit of learning involved. Once they trust you, you can issue commands, ride them, and use them in combat. Setup is a bit fiddly at first but having a trained dragon that actually listens to you is worth the effort.
