Branched Leaves is a 16x resource pack by Navila that puts brown branch-like overlays inside leaf block textures. The result is that your trees actually look like they have internal structure instead of being solid blobs of green floating in the air. It’s a small change that makes a noticeable difference, especially if you’ve ever felt Minecraft’s default trees look too uniform.
What It Does
The pack reworks leaf block textures to show what looks like dark brown branches visible through the foliage. This gives each tree a layered, more natural look without replacing the leaves themselves. You still get the standard leaf color from your biome, just with visible branching detail underneath.
Key Features
- Branch overlays on all standard leaf block types
- Brown branch coloring that contrasts against leaf tints
- 16x resolution, so performance impact is essentially zero
- Works across different biomes and tree variants
- Pairs well with other nature-focused resource packs
Version Compatibility
The pack works on Minecraft 1.20.6, 1.20.4, 1.20.1, 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.19, and 1.18.2. One download file covers all of these versions.
