What ores does this texture pack change?

Iron, gold, diamond, quartz, emerald, lapis lazuli, copper, redstone, and ancient debris all get the animated border treatment.

Does this work on Java Edition?

No. This is a Bedrock and Minecraft PE texture pack only. It won't load in Java Edition.

What is the difference between the four subpacks?

Color 1 and Color 2 are static borders in different color schemes, no animation. Animated 1 and Animated 2 both have moving borders but use different animation styles. You pick one when activating the pack.

Will the animated textures hurt my performance?

Animated textures can cause minor slowdowns on older or lower-end devices. If you notice lag, switch to one of the Color subpacks instead since those are static.

Can I stack this with other texture packs?

Yes. Just make sure this pack sits above any other pack that also changes ore textures in your load order, or the borders might not show up correctly.

Animated Ore Borders Texture Pack (1.20, 1.19) - MCPE/Bedrock

This texture pack puts animated borders on every ore block in Minecraft Bedrock. It makes ores much easier to spot at a glance, and the animations actually look good without going overboard. If you spend a lot of time mining, this one’s worth grabbing.

What It Changes

The following ores all get retextured with glowing animated borders: iron, gold, diamond, quartz, emerald, lapis lazuli, copper, redstone, and ancient debris. The borders pulse or shimmer depending on which subpack you pick.

Four Subpack Styles

The pack ships with four styles you can switch between at install time:

Color 1 – Static colored borders, clean and minimal
Color 2 – Same idea, different color palette
Animated 1 – Fully animated borders with a pulsing effect
Animated 2 – Animated borders with a different animation pattern

You choose your subpack from the texture pack settings when you activate it. Swapping between them later is easy.

Version Compatibility

Works with Minecraft Bedrock from version 1.18.10 up through 1.20+.

How to Install

Download the .mcpack file below.
Open the file. On most devices it will automatically import into Minecraft.
Launch Minecraft and go to Settings > Global Resources.
Find the pack in your available list and move it to active.
Tap the pack to open subpack options and pick your preferred style.
Apply and load into a world.
