Structure Gel API Mod Overview
Structure Gel API is a developer tool that simplifies building structures using Minecraft’s jigsaw system. If you’re creating structures with jigsaws, this mod saves a ton of time. The code is open source and well-documented, so you can extend it to fit your needs.
Features
Structure Gel Blocks
The gel block is your main building tool. Place it inside your structure to fill empty space, and it’ll convert to air when the structure generates. Meanwhile, any air outside the gel stays as natural terrain. This prevents your structures from leaving weird gaps or floating terrain chunks.
The gel acts like structure voids (you can walk through it) but you can actually see it, which makes building way easier. Sneak while placing gel to activate the spreading mechanic. Each color spreads differently depending on what you need.
Red Gel: Spreads in four cardinal directions. Only replaces air blocks.
Blue Gel: Like red gel, but won’t spread into areas where sky is visible. Useful for underground or covered builds.
Green Gel: Spreads in four cardinal directions plus diagonally. Gets into corners and around obstacles. Watch out for it leaking outside your build.
Cyan Gel: Combines green and blue. Spreads diagonally while avoiding sky-exposed areas.
Orange Gel: Spreads like red gel, but the distance depends on how many blocks you’re holding when you place it. Good for open areas where you need flexible coverage.
Yellow Gel: Only spreads along one plane based on which direction you’re facing. Perfect for sealing off walls, windows, and holes.
Removing Gel
Use gunpowder on gel to remove it. This triggers a chain reaction that removes all connected gel of the same color at once.
Installation

Version Compatibility
Structure Gel API supports versions from 1.14.4 all the way to 1.19.4. Download the version that matches your Minecraft installation.
