If you’ve got stacks of redstone, quartz, or glowstone sitting in chests with nothing useful to do with them, this mod fixes that. MoreVanillaArmor adds craftable armor sets for 14 vanilla materials that Minecraft never gave armor to. No new resources, no weird dependencies, just more to do with what you already have.
Armor Sets Added
Every material below gets a full set you can craft in survival:
- Bone
- Coal
- Emerald
- Ender
- Fiery
- Glowstone
- Lapis
- Nether
- Obsidian
- Paper
- Prismarine
- Quartz
- Redstone
- Slime
Some sets are solid mid-game options. Obsidian armor is a nice step up before diamonds, and emerald gives you something to spend those villager trades on. Paper armor is… paper armor. It exists.
Requirements
This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Make sure you grab the right Forge build for your Minecraft version before installing.
How to Install
- Download and install Minecraft Forge for your version.
- Download the MoreVanillaArmor .jar file for your version from the links below.
- Open your
.minecraft/modsfolder. Create it if it doesn’t exist. - Drop the .jar file into the mods folder.
- Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile. The mod loads automatically.
