Do I need CookieCore if I'm not using one of Ephys's mods?

No. It doesn't add anything to the game by itself. It's purely a dependency for Ephys's mod collection, so only install it if one of his mods is asking for it.

Which mods require CookieCore?

Magic Feather, Configurable Beacons, and Player Proxies all need it. If you're running any of those, drop CookieCore into your mods folder alongside them.

Does CookieCore work with Fabric?

The versions available on this page are Forge builds. Make sure you have Forge installed for your version before adding CookieCore to your mods folder.

My game still crashes after installing CookieCore. What do I do?

Double-check that the version matches your Minecraft install exactly. A 1.16.5 mod needs the 1.16.5 build of CookieCore, not 1.16.4 or 1.16.2. Version mismatches are the most common cause of crashes with library mods.
