This data pack adds a new status effect to Minecraft called “Unlucky.” When active, bad things start happening to you, lightning strikes nearby, trees fall on you, and your chances of mining straight into lava go way up. It’s a fun way to add a new layer of chaos to survival.

How to Install

  1. Download the data pack file below.
  2. Open Minecraft and load (or create) a world.
  3. From the world selection screen, click Edit, then Open World Folder.
  4. Inside the world folder, open the datapacks folder.
  5. Drop the downloaded .zip file directly into that folder.
  6. Load into the world and run /reload if the world was already open.
