Getting Silence Armor Trim in Survival Mode

You’ll need to venture into the Deep Dark and find an Ancient City. Here’s the process.

Step 1: Find an Ancient City

Ancient Cities are underground structures in the Deep Dark biome. Use the /locate command to find one quickly: /locate structure ancient_city. Otherwise, dig down and explore, but be careful of the mobs that spawn there.

Step 2: Locate Chests

Once you’re in an Ancient City, search for chests. They contain the loot you’re after. Watch out for Sculk Sensors and Sculk Shriekers that protect the structures.

Step 3: Open Chests and Collect

Open each chest you find and look for Silence Armor Trim. You might not get it on the first try. Check multiple chests. If you don’t find it in one, move to another. You can also find Ward Armor Trim in these same chests.

Once you have it, take it back to your base and use a Smithing Table to apply it to your armor pieces.
