Cursor Mod replaces the default in-game cursor with any custom image you want. Just drop a resource pack with your cursor PNG in the right folder, set the hotspot in the config, and you’re done. It’s a small change but it makes a noticeable difference, especially if you run custom texture packs and the OS cursor sticks out.
Features
- Replaces the in-game Minecraft cursor with a custom PNG from a resource pack
- Default texture path is
assets/minecraft/textures/gui/, changeable via thecursorLocationconfig option - Config lets you set the hotspot position so your clicks land exactly where they should
- Version 1.2 added a Cursors Config Menu (located at
mods/Custom Cursor Mod/Config/) where you can click through and adjust each cursor setting without editing files manually
How to Install
- Install Minecraft Forge or Fabric for your Minecraft version.
- Download the Cursor Mod .jar for your version from the links below.
- Drop the file into your
.minecraft/mods/folder. - Launch Minecraft. The mod applies the cursor on game load.
- To use a custom cursor, include your PNG in a resource pack at
assets/minecraft/textures/gui/(or your configured path), then load the resource pack. - Open the mod config and set the hotspot X/Y values to match your cursor image. If you skip this step, the click point will be off.
