Do I need to install both the OptiFine RK pack and the Client Style pack?

You can install just OptiFine RK for the performance improvements, but the Client Style pack is what gives you the new UI screens and buttons. Most people grab both together.

What Minecraft versions does OptiFine RK V5.3 work with?

This release supports MCPE/Bedrock Edition 1.18 and 1.19. There are separate downloads for each version, so make sure you grab the right one.

Will removing particles and animations break anything in my game?

Nothing important. Particles and ambient animations are purely visual. Removing them just cuts down on what the game has to render each frame, which helps a lot on weaker hardware.

Does this work on both Android and iOS?

Yes. Both packs are standard MCPE resource and behavior packs, so they work on Android, iOS, and Windows 10/11 Bedrock Edition.

Is this the same as OptiFine for Java Edition?

No. Java Edition OptiFine is a completely separate mod. OptiFine RK is a Bedrock Edition pack that borrows the OptiFine name but works differently. It's not made by the same developer.
