Do I need creative mode to use the furniture?

No. Every furniture piece has its own crafting recipe, so you can build everything in survival without touching creative mode.

How does the furniture stacking work?

You can place certain pieces on top of others to create taller combinations. For example, placing a cupboard on a nightstand gives you a tall cabinet, and stacking a tall dresser on a normal dresser creates a new look. Just place one on top of the other in-game.

Does the mod work with Fabric or only Forge?

Depends on your version. Versions up to 1.19.2 are Forge only. From 1.19.3 onward, both Forge and Fabric builds are available.

Does Macaw's Furniture have storage like chests?

Not yet. The mod author has planned storage functionality for a future update, but the current version is decorative only.

Requirements

How to Install

Download and install Minecraft Forge or Fabric for your Minecraft version.
