Yes, right-clicking uses the flint and steel normally, so it will take durability just like lighting TNT on the ground.

Do I need Fabric API or just Fabric Modloader?

You need both. Fabric Modloader alone isn't enough. Make sure Fabric API is also in your mods folder or the mod won't load.

Does the dropped TNT fall straight down or follow my movement?

It inherits your current velocity times 1.2, so it moves in the direction you're flying. The faster you're going, the more forward arc you'll get.

Does this mod need to be installed on the server to work in multiplayer?

Yes, this mod needs to be on the server side. It changes how right-click behaves during elytra flight, which is server-side logic.

Can I carry both TNT and an anvil and switch between them mid-flight?

Yes. The mod checks what you're currently holding when you right-click, so switching hotbar slots or swapping your offhand item changes which bomb you drop.

Elytra Bombing Mod lets you drop primed TNT or falling anvils while soaring with your elytra. Hold the right items, right-click mid-flight, and whatever is below you is about to have a rough time. It’s a focused little mod that does exactly one thing.

How It Works

The mod adds two bombing modes, both triggered by right-clicking while airborne with an elytra equipped:

TNT Drop

Hold TNT in one hand and a flint and steel in the other. Right-clicking uses the flint and steel and spawns a primed TNT with your current velocity multiplied by 1.2. It doesn’t fall straight down. It arcs forward based on your speed, so you’ll need to account for that when aiming.

Anvil Drop

Hold just an anvil with nothing in your offhand. Right-clicking drops a falling anvil block with the same velocity multiplier. Useful for precision strikes since anvils don’t explode and cause less collateral damage.

The velocity scaling on both options is what makes this mod actually fun to use. Once you get a feel for the arc at different flight speeds, aiming becomes its own skill.
