Does Platforms Mod require ShetiPhianCore?

Yes, ShetiPhianCore is a required dependency. Download it separately and drop it into your .minecraft/mods folder alongside Platforms Mod or it won't load.

How do I see the crafting recipes for platforms?

Type /FruzstratedsGuide in chat while in-game. This opens a built-in guide with all the recipes. You can also install Just Enough Items (for Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (for Fabric) to browse recipes through the standard in-game recipe viewer.

Can I use copper or other modded metals to craft platforms?

Yes, as long as both the ingot and the block for that metal are registered in the Forge OreDictionary. Most popular mods (like Thermal Expansion or Immersive Engineering) handle this automatically, so copper platforms and similar should just work.

Is there a Fabric version of Platforms Mod?

Yes, Fabric versions are available for 1.16.5 and newer. For older versions (1.15.2 and below) only the Forge version was released.

How do I change a platform's style or orientation after placing it?

Craft the wrench from the mod. Right-click a platform to rotate it, Shift+Right-click to cycle through available styles, and Shift+Left-click to remove an attached rail. Holding the wrench in your offhand also shows a placement overlay while you're building.

Platforms Mod adds platform blocks you can craft from dozens of materials, wood, stone, and metals included. Build decks over water, walkways through mine shafts, bridge supports, roller coaster frames, whatever needs a structural platform. Type /FruzstratedsGuide in chat to pull up all the recipes in-game.

Supported Materials

Wood

Any plank block registered in the Forge OreDictionary as “plankWood” works, including planks added by other mods.

Stone

Supports a solid range of vanilla stone types:

Stone, Cobblestone, Mossy Cobblestone
Brick Block, End Stone
Hardened Clay and Stained Hardened Clay
Prismarine, Nether Brick Block, Stone Brick Block
Packed Ice, Quartz Block
Lapis Block, Diamond Block, Emerald Block

Mod-added blocks registered as “stone”, “cobblestone”, or “sandstone” in the OreDictionary are picked up automatically too.

Metal

Any metal that has both an ingot and a block registered in the Forge OreDictionary will work. The ingot is what you use in the recipe, but the platform takes the block’s texture. Both the ingot and block have to be registered, and the mod tries to match them from the same mod where it can.

The Platformer

This is the crafting block that produces platforms. Craft it from your material of choice and it outputs platforms with that material’s look. Works with modded planks, ingots with matching blocks, and all the stone types listed above.

The Wrench

The wrench lets you adjust placed platforms without breaking and replacing them:

Right-click: Rotate a platform
Shift + Right-click: Cycle through platform styles
Shift + Left-click: Remove a rail from a platform
Offhand: Holding the wrench in your offhand shows the placement overlay while you build
