Does this mod work with other mods?

Yes. Burn In The Sun is lightweight and doesn't conflict with most other mods. It can even configure sunlight damage for mobs from other mods if you set it up in the config file.

Can I make players take sunlight damage?

Yes, if you want hardcore mode on steroids. Just enable the player setting in the config and everyone burns in direct sunlight.

What happens if I enable sunlight damage for all entities?

Everything that's alive and in direct sunlight will take damage. Mobs, animals, even your pets. Use the config to exclude specific mobs if you don't want that.

Do I need to edit the config file to use this mod?

The mod works with default settings right after install, but yeah, you'll want to open the config file to actually customize which mobs burn. It's just a text file in your config folder.

Burn In The Sun is a simple config mod that gives you full control over sunlight damage in Minecraft. Don’t like how skeletons burn? Turn it off. Want everything to burn when the sun comes up? You can do that too. It’s all in the config file.

The mod hooks into Minecraft’s existing sunlight damage system and lets you pick exactly which mobs, entities, or even players take damage from direct sunlight. Zombies, skeletons, and striders normally avoid the sun. With this mod, you can change that behavior however you want.
