Overlord Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2)
Overlord Mod lets you create and command armies of skeleton warriors. Instead of fighting alone, you can build an unstoppable force of undead soldiers to protect your base, raid dungeons, or go to war with other players. The mod adds skeleton makers, leveling systems, AI controls, and tons of customization options.
Core Features
Raise Your Army
You can create three types of skeletons: Baby skeletons, Warrior skeletons grown in Skeleton Makers, and Converted Skeletons made by right-clicking wild skeletons with golden apples after splashing them with weakness potion. Build a small squad or command hundreds of warriors. The choice is yours.
Control with Overlord’s Seal
You need an Overlord Stamp or Seal to claim skeletons as yours. The Stamp is single-use, but the Seal is unlimited. Once you have a Seal, your skeletons will obey your commands. Without it, they’ll just wander around and ignore you.
Level Up Your Warriors
Feed skeletons milk buckets to level them up. They get faster, stronger, and tougher with each level. The higher they get, the more milk they’ll need to advance. They also gain XP naturally from combat. Keep your army powerful by constantly upgrading them.
Multiple AI Modes
Set each skeleton’s behavior individually or control your entire army at once. Movement modes include Stationed (no movement), Follower (follows you like a pet), and Wander Area (patrols a 32-block radius). Attack modes include Aggressive (attacks everything), Defensive (only fights back), and Passive (never attacks).
Daytime Protection
Skeletons normally burn in sunlight. Craft skin suits for your warriors so they can fight during the day without taking damage. Now your army can operate around the clock.
Alliances
Team up with other players through the alliance system. Set your skeletons to only attack non-allied players and mobs, leaving your allies safe.
Getting Started
Initial Setup
First, craft the Skeleton Maker and Overlord’s Seal. Hold the Seal and right-click to claim it as yours. It’ll get an enchanted glow when claimed. Place your Skeleton Maker next to whatever power source your modpack uses.
Creating a Skeleton Warrior
Put these items in your Skeleton Maker:
- 3 stacks of bones
- 2 milk buckets (you’ll get the empty buckets back)
- Your claimed Overlord’s Seal
- Any armor or weapons you want the skeleton to spawn with
Leveling Up
Right-click a skeleton to open its inventory. Put milk buckets in there and it’ll drink them to level up. Each level requires more milk than the last. You can also let them gain levels naturally from killing mobs and fighting enemies.
Healing Wounds
If your warrior takes damage in combat, shift+right-click it with a milk bucket to heal it back to full health.
AI Configuration
Movement Modes: Stationed keeps your skeleton in place with no melee attacks. Follower makes it tag along with you. Wander Area lets it patrol around where you assign it.
Attack Modes: Aggressive attacks everything that isn’t an ally. Defensive only fights back against threats. Passive never attacks anything, useful for peaceful bases.
