Explorercraft Mod
Explorercraft is all about exploration. It adds new biomes, blocks, items, ores, and mobs across multiple Minecraft versions. The whole mod is designed around one key idea: you’ll find unique things in different biomes, and those items connect together. You explore one area, find something useful, and it helps you progress in another biome. It’s that kind of interconnected adventure.
The mod stays true to vanilla Minecraft’s style while adding plenty of new content to discover. If you like exploring and finding new things to build with, this one’s worth checking out.
Features
- New world generation including biomes, ores, and structures

New Biomes
Explorercraft adds four unique biomes, each with its own themed blocks and items:
Bamboo Forest: Designed after the ancient bamboo forests of Arashiyama and other Far East locations. Includes Japanese shrine and Chinese temple themed blocks and items so you can build authentic structures.
Forested Mountains: Improves the vanilla mountain biome with more varied and colorful world generation. The default mountains in Minecraft can feel dull, so this biome brings them to life with better terrain and decoration.
Snowdonia: A high altitude snow biome inspired by the UK’s tallest mountain. Perfect for exploring and building in snowy peaks.
Blocks and Materials
Ores: Amethyst Ore, Jade Ore, Ruby Ore (plus their block variants)
Building Materials:
- Basalt: Blocks, bricks, mossy variants, cobblestone, cracked, chiselled, polished, and pillar forms
- Marble: Blocks, bricks, mossy bricks, chiselled, polished, pillar
- Slate: Blocks, bricks, mossy bricks, chiselled, Welsh slate, polished, pillar
Special Blocks and Items: Heart of Ddraig Yr Goch, Tatami Mats, Rice Crop, Leek Crop, Wild Leek, Daffodils, Sleeping Bags, and Noctiluca (a mysterious plant that grows in the deep ocean).
Structures: A Mysterious Tower appears in the highest peaks of Snowdonia (in version 1.14.4).
Requirements
Explorercraft requires Minecraft Forge to run.
