Warped hanging signs are a solid way to mark locations or leave messages around your world. They work just like regular signs but hang from chains instead of standing on posts.
What You Need
To make a warped hanging sign, gather these materials:
- 6 Stripped Warped Logs
- 2 Chains
You get 6 hanging signs per craft, so this recipe is pretty efficient.
How to Craft Warped Hanging Signs
Step 1: Open Your Crafting Table
Place down a crafting table and open it. You’ll see the 3×3 grid where you arrange materials.
Step 2: Add Materials in the Right Pattern
Here’s the layout you need:
- Top row: Chain, Empty, Chain
- Middle row: Stripped Warped Log, Stripped Warped Log, Stripped Warped Log
- Bottom row: Stripped Warped Log, Stripped Warped Log, Stripped Warped Log
The chains go in the corner positions at the top. All 6 logs fill the rest. Get it right and the result shows up on the right side of the crafting menu.
Step 3: Move to Your Inventory
Click the crafted hanging signs and drag them to your inventory. Done.
How to Use Them
Warped hanging signs hang from the bottom of blocks. Place one, click it to add text, and you’re set. They work great as directional markers or just for decoration in themed builds. The purple Warped wood fits best with Nether builds but works anywhere.
Finding Stripped Warped Logs
You need to strip warped logs yourself. Find warped logs in the Nether and use an axe on them. An alternative is to craft stripped warped logs from regular warped logs if you have the right mods or resource packs active.
