If you’ve watched DreamSMP content creators, you’ve probably heard about Pandora’s Vault. This map is a detailed recreation of that infamous prison, complete with all the security measures and puzzles that made it famous. It’s a massive build with tons of interactive features and hidden secrets.
Map Overview
When you first spawn, you’re in flat terrain with the prison looming in front of you. It’s impossible to miss. Head to the small building and use the portal to enter the facility. From there, it’s a guided tour through multiple security checkpoints, hidden passages, and the main cell where the prisoner is held.
Main Features
Entry and Lobby
You start at the main entrance and move to the warden’s receptionist lobby. The lobby has buttons and levers that control different room functions. You’ll find lockers, isolation rooms for decontamination, and keycards needed to access certain areas.
Vault and Security Systems
After the lobby, you cross a bridge over a gap to reach the vault. You can control the bridge, vault door, and cell floor using buttons throughout. The guards use the staircase above for surveillance and maintenance. Once you open the vault door, you’ll see the primary cells and more security barriers.
Water Passage and Cleansing Areas
Moving deeper, you’ll swim through water passages for cleansing before reaching the next levels. The guards have control panels throughout to manage your progress through the facility.
Guard Bunker
The bunker has three floors with respawn beds for guards. There’s also a storage room for equipment and items used in prison operations. You’ll see multiple control panels for guards positioned throughout the structure.
Final Cell and Main Chamber
Climb a massive staircase to reach the final chamber where the main prisoner is held. Buttons control the lava falls, barriers, and bridge to the cell. Once done visiting, harming potions send you back to respawn in a nearby bed.
Secret Areas
There’s more to explore beyond the main path. Head back to the staircase above the vault door to find guard rooms and secret passages. You’ll discover storage areas, ender pearl stasis chambers, security maintenance rooms, elevators, and even rooftop escape routes used by guards.
Surveillance and Security
The prison has serious security layers. Watch towers outside are just the beginning. There are hidden surveillance balconies above ceilings, through walls, and beneath floors. Every player gets mining fatigue from elder guardians hidden in the walls to prevent escape attempts.
Keycard System
The lockers use a keycard system. Throw a keycard on the slab in the corner and wait for the dispenser to return it. Once you get it back, a button appears to unlock and lock your locker chest.
Recent Updates
The lava hallway bridge is now a flying machine that goes back and forth. If it freezes midair, use flint and steel on the observer block to fix it. The dispensing system has been improved to properly dispense splash potions like fire resistance and harming potions.
