Place a siren block and connect redstone wire or another redstone source to it. When powered, the siren plays its sound once and then stops.

Yes. White sirens can be combined with any dye in a crafting table to change their color. Dyed sirens keep their color in the world.

Yes. The further away you are from a siren, the quieter it sounds. Plan your siren locations with this in mind for your builds.

Siren Mod 1.7.10 adds working sirens to Minecraft. Place a siren, connect it to redstone power, and hear realistic sound effects. You get fire alarms, nuclear sirens, and speakers to build with. The sound gets quieter the further away you are, so plan your siren placements carefully.

Features

Three Siren Types

The mod includes a general siren, fire alarm version, nuclear siren, and speaker blocks. Each has its own sound and crafting recipe. You can dye white sirens any color you want by combining them with dyes in a crafting table.

Redstone Powered

Power any siren with redstone and it plays once, then stops. The sound radius changes based on distance, making it useful for warning systems or just adding atmosphere to your builds.

Silicon Ore

A new ore spawns around Y level 20. Break it with a wooden pickaxe or better to get 3-6 silicon shards. You’ll need these shards to craft the siren components.

Crafting Recipes

The mod includes several recipes for the integrated circuits, speakers, and different siren types. We recommend installing Just Enough Items if you’re using Forge, or Roughly Enough Items for Fabric to see all the recipes in game.
