Secret Rooms Mod
Secret Rooms Mod lets you build hidden rooms, secret doors, and nasty traps using camouflaged blocks. Every block in this mod blends into its surroundings, so you can hide your stuff or catch thieves off guard. Want to make a floor that looks solid but lets players fall through? Or a door that’s invisible until you activate it? This mod does that.
What’s Included
Camouflage Paste
The base crafting ingredient for all Secret Rooms blocks. You’ll need this to make the secret doors, buttons, and redstone components.
Camo Gate
A block that mimics whatever’s around it. When you hit it with a redstone signal, it extends up to 10 blocks and fills the space with matching camouflaged blocks. Perfect for making walls, floors, or ceiling sections that vanish on command. The extended blocks can be broken but won’t drop anything. If you’re using it in a floor, it’ll copy the block below it, so use slabs underneath if you want to control what it copies.
Ghost Block
A trap block that looks solid but you can walk right through it. It copies the appearance of whatever touches its bottom or side. Place one over a lava pit and watch thieves fall for it. Redstone can sit on top, and signals can travel down but not up, which is useful for some redstone tricks. Breaks like wool when you punch it.
One-Way Glass
Glass that works from only one direction. On one side it looks like a solid wall matching whatever block it’s next to. On the other side it’s transparent like normal glass. You can toggle which side is opaque using the Backslash key.
Secret Wood Button
An invisible button. Useful when you want to trigger something but don’t want people seeing the button.
Secret Trapped Chest
A chest that looks like whatever block you were looking at when you placed it. Works with mod blocks too.
Secret Lever
Takes on the exact look of the block it’s placed on. Right-click to send a lasting redstone signal, just like a normal lever. Good for opening hidden doors or activating redstone contraptions.
Other Secret Blocks
This mod also includes Secret Light Detector, Secret Redstone (hides redstone behind block textures), Secret PlayerPlate (pressure plate that only detects players), Secret TrapDoor, Secret Wooden Door, Secret Iron Door, and Torch Lever (looks like a torch but works as a lever and gives off light).
How to Install
This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Optional mods that work with it: MalisisDoors Mod and Waila Mod.
