What is Unique Artifacts?
Unique Artifacts Mod brings rare, randomly generated items to Minecraft 1.7.10. The mod creates over 24 million different artifact combinations by mixing 32 trigger-and-effect sets with up to 5 effects per item. Every artifact gets its own unique name based on its effects and a random icon from 36 different designs. The best part? It all works on a single item ID using NBT data tags.
Finding and Using Artifacts
Artifacts spawn naturally in the world. You’ll find them commonly in jungle temples and pyramids, less often in strongholds, and rarely in blacksmith chests. Durability matches the material type, except diamonds which last longer than vanilla diamond gear while wood and stone degrade faster. You can display your best finds on special pedestals that show off the item under glass. Only you can open the pedestal you placed.
Building and Crafting
The mod adds crafting recipes for display pedestals, arrow traps, iron spikes, and more. Check the recipes with Just Enough Items (JEI) mod if you’re using Forge. Display pedestals show your artifact’s name on the front with the item displayed safely under glass.
How to Install
- Download Minecraft Forge for your Minecraft version
- Install Forge
- Download the Unique Artifacts mod
- Open your .minecraft/mods folder (create it if needed)
- Drop the mod file into the folder
- Start Minecraft and play
