Potion Capsule Mod 1.14.4
Ever burned through a full Fire Resistance potion just to cross a small lava lake? Potion Capsule Mod 1.14.4 fixes that. This mod lets you split potion effects into tiny portions and store them in capsules. Use a capsule or keep them ready with a capsule pendant.
What You Get
Potion Capsules
The main item. Craft any potion with a capsule recipe and split off a small portion of its effect. The leftover potion stays in your inventory. You can consume a capsule directly for the effect, or combine multiple capsules into one.
Capsules display what effect they contain right in the name, so you always know what you’re holding. Want to clear one? Just throw it in a crafting grid.
Config options let you set how long each capsule lasts and whether to trash effects that are too short to store.
Capsule Pendant
Wear this in your inventory (requires Curios API) and load it with capsules. The pendant triggers capsules automatically based on 8 different conditions:
- About to attack
- Taking damage
- On fire
- In water
- Sprinting
- Falling
- In darkness
- Custom keybind press
Only one pendant works if you have multiple in your inventory. Capsules won’t trigger while you have a GUI open.
Gelatin Extractor
A machine that pulls Gelatin Powder from bones and leather. Place it down and feed it materials to get powder.
Gelatin Former
Combines Gelatin Powder with catalysts to craft capsules and other items. Mix 2 Gelatin Powder with Nether Wart Dust to get 8 Potion Capsules. Or combine 8 Gelatin Powder with an Apple for 8 Apple Jelly.
Nether Wart Dust
Drop mature nether wart crops to get this. Alternatively, enable the crafting recipe in config to turn 1 Nether Wart into 9 Dust.
NightVisionNF Effect
Night Vision normally flickers when the duration gets low, which looks bad with short capsule effects. This mod replaces it with a flicker-free version. You can disable this in the config if you prefer vanilla behavior.
