Infinite Dimensions Mod
Infinite Dimensions Mod brings back the chaos of Minecraft’s 2020 April Fools’ snapshot with a massive twist. This mod generates over 2.1 billion unique dimensions, each one completely randomized and ready to explore. Write something in a book and quill, throw it into a nether portal, and watch the portal change colors as you’re transported to a bizarre new world with weird terrain, crazy sky colors, and random plants everywhere.
Every dimension is different. Weird floating islands, upside-down forests, lava skies, you never know what you’re going to get. And the best part? You can configure almost everything to suit your playstyle.
Key Features
- Over 2.1 billion unique dimensions, fully randomized each time
- Create custom dimensions by writing in a book and throwing it into a nether portal
- Fully configurable spawn chances and block selection
- Add blocks, mobs, and fluids from other mods into dimensions
- Customize resources to make them rare or abundant
How It Works
The concept is simple but wild. Grab a book and quill, write anything you want, and toss it into a nether portal. The portal changes color and you’re taken to a brand new dimension generated on the fly. Every dimension has randomized terrain generation, block types, and environmental features. Want to limit netherite spawning? You can do that. Want to fill a dimension with a specific block? Done. The customization options let you fine-tune dimension generation to match your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this with other mods?
Yes. Infinite Dimensions works with most mods since it uses Architectury API for compatibility. If you run into issues, check the mod page for known conflicts.
What if I don’t like a generated dimension?
Generate a new one. Since there are billions of possible dimensions, you can keep throwing books into portals until you find one you like. Or adjust the configuration file to control what generates.
Does this work on servers?
Yes, you can use this mod on servers. Make sure all players have the mod installed and the server has the required dependencies.
Can I customize terrain generation?
Absolutely. The mod is fully configurable. You can adjust spawn chances for specific blocks, limit resource availability, and control which block types appear in dimensions.
Which mod loader should I use?
Both Fabric and NeoForge work well. Fabric tends to be lighter on performance, while NeoForge offers better compatibility with some other mods. Pick whichever your other mods prefer.
