This addon takes the Deep Dark to the next level. You get new creatures, structures, and items spread throughout the Ancient City. Fight tough bosses, dig for hidden treasure in the Echo Ruins, and experiment with Echo Electronics. There’s also a Deep Dark Portal to unlock if you’re up for the challenge.
What’s New in the Deep Dark
Creatures and Bosses
The Deep Dark gets some serious new threats. Face off against the Abyssal Leviathan and Echo Golem. These aren’t pushovers, so gear up before you go hunting.
Treasures and Structures
The Echo Ruins are packed with loot. Use Deepslate Sigils to unlock the past and find rare items. There’s plenty to discover if you explore carefully.
Echo Electronics
New tech powered by the deep. Build devices using Echo Electronics and push your redstone creations further than before.

What You Need
- Minecraft 1.20.80 or higher (1.21.0 recommended)
- Holiday Creator Features enabled
- Custom Biomes feature enabled
- If playing before 1.21.0, activate the 1.21 experiment
- A bonus chest gives you a helpful guidebook when you start
