Fallout Mod 1.7.10 for Minecraft

Overview

Fallout Mod 1.7.10 brings the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout New Vegas into Minecraft. If you want radiation, weapons with actual sounds, chems, and survival mechanics, this mod delivers. It’s built for players who want something different from vanilla survival.

Health & Medicine

Stimpaks

Stimpaks restore health instantly based on your medicine skill. There are two types: standard Stimpaks and Super Stimpaks. You can craft them into Auto-Inject Stimpaks, which activate automatically when you drop below 50% health.

Other Chems

Med-X increases your damage resistance. Psycho boosts all your damage output. Both can cause addiction with a random chance, and you need Fixer chems to remove it (though Fixer isn’t obtainable yet). RadAway removes radiation damage, and RadX increases your radiation resistance for 2 minutes.

Weapons & Combat

The mod adds pistols and rifles from Fallout New Vegas, each with original game sounds. Right-click to fire and press R to reload. The missile launcher and frag grenade are included. You can turn off terrain damage from explosions in the config file.

Getting weapons is tough right now: the only reliable way is finding a 10mm pistol in dungeon chests (it’s rare). Ammo is harder to find, so don’t waste shots.

Pip-Boy 3000

Functions as an extra 8 inventory slots that hold any item except another Pip-Boy. Right-click to open. On servers, items stored in a Pip-Boy stay there if you give it to someone else, so be careful what you carry.

Other Items

Bottle Caps: The Fallout currency. No merchants accept them yet, but they’re there if you want to collect them.

Empty Syringe: Used to craft most chems in the mod.

Leather Belt: Only used for Super Stimpak recipes right now.

Installation

This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Install Forge for your Minecraft version, then drop the mod file in your .minecraft/mods folder.

Crafting & Compatibility

The mod has a lot of custom recipes. Install Just Enough Items (for Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (for Fabric) to see all recipes in-game.

Fallout Mod is compatible with most other mods. Check the mod description for any known conflicts. More configuration options are available in the mod’s config file.
