How to Control the Drill

Press M to open the menu and add fuel
Use W A S D to move forward, backward, left, and right
Attack it to pick it up when you’re done
Reverse to climb uphill

Note: The drill burns through fuel pretty quick, so keep that in mind when planning your mining trips.
