There’s a bug in Minecraft that’s been around since 1.12 where renamed heads lose their names when you break them. You rename a head in an anvil, place it down, break it, and boom, the name’s gone. Head Name Fix Mod solves this, letting you keep custom names on heads permanently, just like you can with chests and banners.
What It Does
This mod is a server-side fix that saves head names the same way the game saves name tags on other blocks. When you rename a mob head or player head at an anvil, that name sticks around when you mine it. Works for vanilla heads and heads added by other mods too.
