Ore Trees Addon for Minecraft 1.19
Yes, another ore trees addon. But this one is actually special. It adds 9 different ore tree variants that work just like normal trees in Minecraft. The difference? They drop ore materials instead of wood. Each tree has its own sapling you can craft, and they all follow standard Minecraft tree behavior.
The trees added are cobblestone, coal, iron, gold, redstone, lapis, diamond, emerald, and quartz. The addon also works with other ore addons like (M)ore, so you can stack them together for even more options.
Features
How the Trees Work
- They work just like regular Minecraft trees in most ways
- Leaves only drop saplings if you break the whole log
- You can use bonemeal to make them grow faster (might take a few tries)
- Each tree type drops different amounts of log chunks
Getting the Ore from Trees
You get an item called a log chunk from chopping trees. When you place 4 log chunks in a 2×2 pattern, it gives you the actual ore material. Netherite is different though, you’ll need 9 log chunks for that.
Crafting the Saplings
Getting the first sapling is straightforward. You start by making Coal. From there it gets a bit more complex. With Coal you can craft Amethyst, Iron, or Copper. With Copper you can make Gold. The rest depends on which sapling you want next. For example, Diamond and Emerald need Amethyst, and so on. It’s like a tree of ore trees.
