Torcherino Mod adds special torches that speed up tile entities around them. Basically, they make machines and blocks run faster.
Place a Torcherino next to any tile entity and it’ll start ticking faster. There’s a base torch and then upgrades to make things even quicker. Most stuff is configurable too if you want to tweak things.
What You Can Speed Up
- Crops and plants – Grow them way faster than normal
- Furnaces and smelters – Smelt ore and cook food in seconds
- Mob spawners – Get mobs spawning at 2x or 3x speed
- Other tile entities – Works with machines from other mods too
How to Install
You’ll need Forge or Fabric first:
Once you have a mod loader, drop the Torcherino jar into your mods folder and launch Minecraft.
Version Compatibility
Torcherino works with Minecraft 1.8.9 and 1.9.4. Pick the version that matches your Minecraft installation.
