What is LostWorld Mod?
LostWorld Mod makes Minecraft harder by adding creatures with real AI. You get spider queens, cyborg allies, giant insects, and boss-level threats that actually fight back. Some can be tamed and ridden. Others will destroy you if you’re not careful. Makes survival way more challenging.
Creatures You Can Ride
Two mobs can be tamed as mounts for combat.
- Spider Mother: Huge, smart, and deadly. Tame it to get a PvP mount. The AI is genuinely scary.
- Giant Ant: Fast and aggressive. Another solid combat companion for getting around or fighting.
Your Cyborg Companion
- Cyborg: A companion that actually helps. Fights alongside you, protects you, attacks what you attack. Can fly with a jetpack, walk on lava and water, and carries items. Also searches for ores automatically. Basically a dog with superpowers.
Smaller Mobs That Are Still Dangerous
- Spider Mini: Baby spider. Solo they’re fine, but they swarm you in groups. Use a Lost World torch to hypnotize them.
- Mini Ant: Tiny and sneaky. Steals your equipped items and armor. Annoying little bastards.
- Decoys: Craft these to distract mobs while you make a run for it.
Boss-Level Threats
- Giant Ant Queen: Slow but brutal. Spawns mini ants to protect it. Kill it and get the sugar needed to tame Giant Ants.
- Hell Squid: Nether mob that drops enchanted books. Your XP level determines the enchantment tier you get. Higher XP means better enchantments.
Other Dangerous Mobs
- Angry Villager: Hit them with your fists and they fight back with arrows. Drops useful stuff when killed.
- Bats: Only in the LostWorld dimension. Don’t walk in snow at night without a torch or they will end you. Can’t be killed.
- Anger Fish: Deep ocean creatures. Kill them with a weak weapon to get skins for glowing arrows and bows.
- Bogeyman: Nearly invisible. Knocks your held item out of your hands and runs away. Comes back to attack later.
- Bull: Hangs around cows. Gets aggressive if you get close. Watch out for the knockback from its horns.
- Stone Mobs: Dangerous when they hunt together. Convert other mobs to stone mobs to build their army.
- Radioactive Slime: The fluid damages armor fast. Avoid it.
- Gremlins: Always in groups. Follow you asking for random items. Refuse them or hit them and they throw rocks. Good rewards for killing them.
- Chest Mob: Looks like a regular chest. Open it and a mob spawns with loot.
- Bison: Snow biome creatures. Big, strong, drop extra meat and leather.
- Monkeys: Passive, just chill in the world.
What You Need
Two things are required:
- Minecraft Forge for your version
- gnrsharedlib dependency (download below)
How to Install
- Download and install Minecraft Forge for 1.7.10
- Download the mod and dependency files
- Move both .jar files to your .minecraft/mods folder
- Launch Minecraft with a Forge profile
