Chunky McChunkFace Mod Overview
In vanilla Minecraft, chunks unload when you move too far away. That means your farms stop producing, your redstone contraptions freeze, and nothing happens until you come back. Chunky McChunkFace solves this with a simple chunk loader block. Just place it down and your chunks stay loaded, so your farms run 24/7 while you’re offline.
The mod works with both Forge and NeoForge across versions 1.18.2 through 1.20.6. No complicated setup needed.
How It Works
Chunk Loader Block
Place the Chunky McChunkFace block in your farm area. It immediately starts loading that chunk. Mobs spawn, redstone works, farms produce, and everything else runs like normal. Leave a block loaded while you explore or work elsewhere.
Auto-Disable When Offline
If nobody interacts with the chunk loader for 7 in-game days (default, configurable), it turns off automatically. No sense wasting resources on chunks nobody’s using. Turn it back on anytime by interacting with the block again.
Upgrade with Pyramids
Stack blocks under your chunk loader like a beacon pyramid to expand the loading range. Each tier increases the area. Use allowed blocks to customize how big your loading zone gets.
Visual Guides
Tap a keybind to see a translucent box showing exactly which chunks are loaded. Helps you plan your farm layout. Hold a Chunk Loader item to highlight nearby loaders with outlines so you can find them easily.
Configuration
Adjust settings in the config file to control base load range, tier ranges, and offline timeout. Fine-tune the mod to match your playstyle and server needs.
Admin Commands
Servers can manage chunk loaders with these commands:
/chunkymcchunkface list <dimension>– Lists all loaders in a dimension/chunkymcchunkface list active <dimension>– Shows only active loaders/chunkymcchunkface disable <x> <y> <z> <dimension>– Disables one loader/chunkymcchunkface disableall <dimension>– Disables all loaders

Installation
Install like any other mod:
- Download the correct version below
- Open your Minecraft mods folder (.minecraft/mods)
- Drop the file in and launch
