Parkour Basics Map Overview

Parkour Basics Map is a parkour training map designed to teach two core movement mechanics: grabbing and wall-running. Created by Geegaz, this map takes you through 8 progressively challenging levels where you’ll master these techniques while hunting for 8 hidden secret items.

Gameplay Features

Grab Mechanic

Hold Shift while running forward to grab onto iron bars. This lets you swing across gaps and reach otherwise impossible areas. Mastering the grab timing is key to progressing through the later levels.

Wall-Run Mechanic

Sprint forward against white concrete walls to run up them. Wall-running opens up vertical routes and lets you reach high ledges. Combined with grabbing, it creates some really satisfying movement flow.

8 Challenging Levels

Each level introduces new combinations of these mechanics. You’ll start with simple wall-runs and grabs, then face sections that require perfect timing and technique to complete.

Hidden Secret Items

Hunt for 8 secret items scattered throughout the map. Finding them all requires exploring off the main path and discovering hidden rooms and shortcuts.

Installation Requirements

• Minecraft version 1.14 snapshot 19w07a or later
• Set Render Distance to 12 or higher for best performance
• Survival mode (no cheats)

How to Install

1. Download the map file using the link below
2. Extract the .zip file if needed
3. Move the folder to your .minecraft/saves directory
4. Launch Minecraft and select the world from your world list
