About Bottled Exp Plugin
Bottled Exp turns your server’s experience into tradeable items. Instead of losing all your XP when you die, bottle it up and trade it around. It’s a simple concept that opens up a lot of possibilities for player economy and survival servers.
Key Features
Easy XP Commands
- Bottle your experience with /bottle get [amount]
- Store XP back into yourself with /bottle store [amount]
- Use /bottle stats to see how much XP you have
- Check how many bottles you need to reach a specific level
Block Interactions
- Exchange XP by clicking on a specific block (enchanting table by default)
- Set up custom exchange blocks anywhere in your world
- Click to bottle or unbox your experience without using commands
Custom Bottles
- Create bottles with custom names and descriptions
- Store any amount of XP you want in each bottle
- Set up custom crafting recipes to make bottles from other items
- Bottles look and work like normal Minecraft items
Server Control
- Charge money for each XP exchange (economy support)
- Disable villager XP trading if you want
- Stop experience drops from mob spawners
- Give your XP to other players on the server
Permissions
The plugin uses a permission system to control what players can do:
- bottledexp.command.stats – Check your own XP amount
- bottledexp.command.stats.others – Check another player’s XP
- bottledexp.command.until – See how many bottles needed to reach a level
- bottledexp.command.get – Bottle your XP
- bottledexp.command.get.max – Bottle all your XP at once
- bottledexp.command.store – Unbox bottles into your experience
- bottledexp.command.store.max – Unbox all bottles at once
- bottledexp.command.give – Give your XP to other players
- bottledexp.expcontainer.craft – Craft custom XP bottles
- bottledexp.interact – Use exchange blocks
- bottledexp.custominteract – Use custom exchange blocks
How to Install
- Download the plugin file for your Minecraft version (see below)
- Put the .jar file in your server’s plugins folder
- Restart your server or reload plugins
- The plugin will generate its config files
- Customize settings in the config if you want, then reload
- Done. Start bottling XP
Version Support
Bottled Exp works on Spigot 1.7 through 1.19. Make sure you download the right version for your server. If you’re not sure what version you’re running, type /version in your server console.
