NAD’s Fences Resource Pack (1.20.6, 1.20.1)
NAD’s Fences is a lightweight resource pack that overhauls fence textures in Minecraft. If you build a lot, you probably notice vanilla fences are pretty basic. This pack gives them actual character without tanking your performance.
What’s Included
The pack focuses entirely on fences. You get new textures for all standard fence types, plus matching gate variants. The design is detailed but still maintains the blocky Minecraft aesthetic so it doesn’t look out of place in your world.
Resolution
NAD’s Fences comes in 16x resolution. It’s small enough to run smoothly on most systems.
Version Support
Works on Minecraft 1.20.6, 1.20.4, 1.20.2, 1.20.1, and 1.19.4. Make sure you’re on one of these versions before installing.
Installation Instructions
- Download the pack using the link below
- Open your Minecraft launcher
- Go to Options > Resource Packs
- Click “Open Pack Folder”
- Drop the downloaded file into that folder
- Back in the resource packs menu, find NAD’s Fences and click the arrow to activate it
- You’re done. Load a world and the new fences will show up immediately
Do I Need OptiFine?
OptiFine is not required to use this pack, but it can add extra features like connected textures if you want them. If you want to use OptiFine, install it first, then add the resource pack like normal.
Compatibility
NAD’s Fences works with vanilla Minecraft. It’s compatible with shader packs and mods that don’t change fence models. If you use mods that heavily alter terrain or building blocks, test it first to make sure nothing looks weird.
