Real Time Chat Translation Mod for Minecraft 1.16.5 & 1.15.2

Playing on multiplayer servers with international players can be rough if there’s a language barrier. The Real Time Chat Translation Mod solves that by automatically translating chat messages from other players into your language. You’ll see what they’re saying without needing to install anything on the server.

How It Works

The mod uses Yandex translation service to translate chat messages in real time. Just press Y to toggle it on and off. When it’s active, messages from other players show up in your chosen language. Keep in mind that translation isn’t perfect, so you’ll see some awkward phrasing or occasional errors. But you’ll still understand what people are saying.

What You Need to Know

This is a client-side mod, which means the server doesn’t need to have it installed. Just drop it in your mods folder and you’re done.

The mod only translates languages that Minecraft supports. Some language pairs might have errors since the translation service doesn’t handle every edge case perfectly.

Requires Java 1.8 or higher. Minecraft’s default launcher comes with Java 1.8 pre-installed, so this shouldn’t be an issue for most people.

How to Install

You’ll need a mod loader first.

For Forge
