Teak’s Tweaks Plugin for Spigot Servers
Teak’s Tweaks is a Spigot plugin packed with over 100 customizable tweaks for your Minecraft server. Want to change how mobs work? Add new crafting recipes? Give players quality-of-life features like /home and /spawn? This plugin does all that. You pick which tweaks you want, configure them however you like, and your players get a better server experience.
Gameplay Tweaks
This is where the plugin shines. You get control over basic game mechanics that vanilla doesn’t let you touch. Make mobs stay baby versions, remove grief from creepers and endermen, change how fast leaves decay, lock recipes until you want them unlocked, and much more. Need multiplayer sleeping where not everyone has to sleep to skip the night? Done. Want phantoms to scale in size based on how long you’ve been awake? It’s in there.
- Keep mobs in child form
- Anti-creeper, enderman, and ghast grief
- Multiplayer sleep (partial player sleeping works)
- Fast leaf decay for survival
- Unlock all recipes on join or keep them locked
- Larger phantoms the longer you don’t sleep
- Dragon drops elytra and egg on death
- Double shulker shells from all shulkers
- Custom nether portal sizes and shapes
- Mob heads drop from mobs you kill
Quality-of-Life Commands
Players love these. /spawn takes them back to world spawn. /home set [name] and /home [name] let them save locations. /tpa requests to teleport to friends. /back goes back to your last teleport. These feel basic but make your server feel more complete.
- /spawn – Go to world spawn
- /home set [name] – Save your location
- /home [name] – Teleport to a saved location
- /tpa [player] – Request to teleport to someone
- /back – Return to where you were before teleporting
- /tag – Play the Hermitcraft tag game
Crafting Tweaks
Add tons of new recipes or change existing ones. Convert items that normally can’t be crafted. Craft things in your 2×2 inventory grid instead of needing a crafting table. Get more output from basic recipes like stairs and trapdoors.
- Craft stairs, slabs, trapdoors, and bark in larger quantities
- Smelt rotten flesh into leather
- Convert charcoal and coal to black dye
- Craft enchanted golden apples
- Create name tags in survival mode
- Turn concrete powder into stained glass by smelting
- Craft bundles (for 1.17 compatibility)
- Craft sculk sensors and spore blossoms
- Break down ice, wool, and nether wart blocks into smaller pieces
Performance and Utility Features
Server admins get tools here. Track statistics on scoreboards, monitor item flow in farms, view mob spawning spheres, set up custom villager trades through chests, and manage visibility options in spectator mode. There’s also commands for calculating nether portal coords between dimensions and checking real-world playtime.
- Track statistics automatically (blocks walked, items crafted, etc)
- Item flow monitoring with averaging
- Spawning sphere visualization for farm proofing
- Nether portal coordinate calculator
- Chunk loaders using nether stars and lodestones
- Custom villager shop setup with chests
- AFK display (grays out players sitting still)
- Durability ping notification
- Real-world playtime tracking
Combat and Mob Changes
Add variety to mob encounters. Make mobs drop heads, silence mobs with name tags, track mob deaths, get notifications when villagers die, and more. You can tone down annoying mob behavior or make things deadlier depending on your server vibe.
- Mob heads drop when killed
- Player heads drop when killed by other players
- Silence mobs with name tags
- Count mob deaths on your server
- Get notifications when villagers die
- Pillager raids customization
- Confetti creepers (some explosions do no damage)
Visual and Utility Tweaks
Add cosmetic features and improvements. Invisible item frames with shears, colored chat messages, visible workstation highlights for villagers, rotation wrenches for redstone components, armored elytra combining, and more small touches that add polish.
- Chat colors (with & codes)
- Invisible item frames
- Lectern page reset on close
- Stair chairs for sitting
