What This Mod Does
The 1.9 Combat Update changed how attacking works. Your weapons now have cooldown timers, and you have to wait between hits to deal full damage. Good Old PvP Mod turns all that off.
Features
- Disables attack speed cooldowns. Swing as fast as you want.
- Restores pre-1.9 attack damage. No more reduced damage while cooldown is active.
- Works with Forge for easy installation.
How to Install
- Download and install Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod file below.
- Open your .minecraft folder.
- Go to the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create one.
- Drop the downloaded jar file into the mods folder.
- Launch Minecraft and play.
